As a English major who is nearly done with his degree, I find it rediculous that such a bad writer as Ayn Rand is on this list while many academically recognized authors are left out. Why do we have an universally academically ignored ("ignored" being a kind way of putting it) romance novelist on here rather than, say, Nabokov's Lolita? -- LGagnon 02:46, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
